Chief Airline Officer game changelog
A short public log of player-visible fixes. Dates match the commits, not a marketing calendar.
November 2, 2026 — Headquarters are permanent
An airline keeps the headquarters it picks at founding, in every world. You can still open and close other bases. To relaunch from a different HQ, use Start Over.
October 16, 2026 — Rebuilt for stability
Each airline keeps its own cash, fleet, and routes. A shared account write no longer leaks one carrier's books into another.
The loan desk, the header cash figure, and fleet labels follow the latest treasury action. A corporate loan no longer counts its own cash as collateral.
The price and fee shown on a charge are the ones that get taken.
October 13–15, 2026 — The site stays up while the world moves
Day close runs beside the website instead of hanging it. Second CAO World has its own process, so opening that save cannot replace the live world's memory.
When Play is busy, the browser gets the last good page instead of stacking full reloads. A newly opened base survives a worker reload, so a filed schedule can go into service.
Cancelled routes drop off All routes when that airline's own schedule already has the pair. A due fare clears when the airline is opened, so a later save cannot leave the price pending.
What this log is not
New airlines still start with $25 million. Credits still unlock only route analysis, the livery studio, and founding an alliance. Nothing here changes how passengers choose flights.
